Fila P Anti-Rise ProtectiveW10 5L for environmentally friendly pre-installation anti-rising treatment.
Ideal for the back of natural stone, granite, marble, agglomerates, terracotta and absorbent materials.
WHAT IT IS USED FOR
- Anti-rising protectant to be applied to the back of tiles or slabs of absorbent materials intended for installation.
- Prevents the rise of pollutants from the substrate towards the surface of the material (salts, tannin, ferrous substances, etc.), avoiding the formation of rings and/or stains.
- Protective product to be applied before installation with anti-rising function.
- Specific product for natural stone, granite, marble, agglomerates, terracotta and absorbent materials.
- It has hydro-repellent and consolidating properties.
THE ADVANTAGES
- Blocks the rise of pollutants and prevents the formation of rings and surface stains.
- Does not create a surface film and allows the treated material to breathe
- In accordance with UNI EN 1348-2009 and ASTM C482-02 R-2009 it does not substantially alter the adhesion characteristics of the glue.
- Water-based product - VOC free.
- Definitive protection.
- Ideal for floors, stairs and coverings.
- Applied after installation on natural stone, concrete and other absorbent materials, it prevents the formation of blackening caused by smog, pollution, carbonation and sulfation processes, biodeterioration attacks.
HOW TO USE
-
No dilution: ready for use.
- PRE-INSTALLATION TREATMENT: 5-SIDED PROTECTION to block contaminating agents (stains, yellow stains, glue installation errors) on the back and 4 sides of the material. Clean the back of the tile or slab thoroughly, eliminating dust and residues , and checking that the surface is dry and free of humidity. Once the surface is dry, apply the product on the back and on the edges of the material with a brush or airless pump in a continuous and homogeneous manner, avoiding stagnation of the product. Glue the material when completely dry, indicative waiting time between 12 hours (temperatures between 20 °C and 40 °C) and 24 hours (temperatures between 10 °C and 20 °C) before gluing the material. Choose the adhesive suitable for the type of installation according to the UNI EN 12004:2012-2 standard. Store the material so that it can dry completely. After the initial washing it is possible to complete the treatment of the surface with the most suitable water-based or solvent-based protective agent for the intended use of the material.
- 6-SIDED PROTECTION: in situations of high humidity, to block contaminants on the back and 4 sides of the material (oxidation, stains, yellow stains, glue installation errors) and to create a water-repellent effect on the upper part .Clean all faces of the tile or slab thoroughly, eliminating dust and residues and checking that the surface is dry and free of humidity. Spread a coat of PW10 with an airless spray pump or brush, distributing the solution evenly on all sides of the material, avoiding surface stagnation. It is also possible to apply it by immersing the material in the product for approximately 30 seconds. Product residues must be removed by dabbing with a cloth, avoiding product stagnation on the surface.
Caution:
In the case of shiny surfaces, pay particular attention to the application method to avoid leaching the product onto the front and staining the surface. Do not apply the product to the front of the material if the surface is shiny. It is good practice to check with the manufacturer which glue is suitable for the intended use of the material.
